Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry level respiratory therapist position.
• No prior respiratory care experience required.
• CA licensure or eligibility required as applicable.
• AMA-approved respiratory care program completed with associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications via HHN/MDI/DPI.
• Deliver medical gases using nasal cannulas and masks.
• Perform routine/tracheostomy care and downsizing.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and supplies.
• Document results and assessments in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and therapies.
• Provide CPAP/BiPAP and invasive ventilation as needed.
