Job summary

UES, a national leader in geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting, seeks a Recruiter I in Phoenix to support full-cycle recruitment across business units. You will partner with local HR teams and hiring managers to define role requirements, build pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience.

This 12‑month assignment offers exposure to enterprise TA strategies, compliance, and a chance to extend into a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR support.
• Familiarity with ATS and sourcing tools.
• Understanding of employment law and recruiting compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Define role requirements and hiring needs with HR and TA teams.
• Build and maintain pipelines across functions and geographies.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, and professional networks.
• Draft, post, and manage job advertisements in accordance with internal processes and compliance guidelines.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and support interview scheduling and logistics across teams.
• Assist in offer processes, including background checks and documentation, in collaboration with HR.
• Deliver an excellent candidate experience from application through onboarding.
• Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal hiring laws and internal recruitment policies and practices.
• Support the implementation of enterprise-wide recruiting tools and employer branding.
