Job summary

UES is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment across assigned business units. The role collaborates with local HR teams, hiring managers, and the enterprise TA CoE to ensure effective, compliant recruitment and a strong candidate experience.

The Recruiter will build pipelines, source across multiple channels, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and maintain ATS data while upholding state and federal hiring laws. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of recruiting, staffing, or HR support experience.
  • Familiarity with ATS, sourcing tools, and MS Office/Google Suite.
  • Basic understanding of employment law and recruiting compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Partner with recruiting partners and hiring managers to define role requirements and profiles.

Position Overview

The Corporate Recruiter plays a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across assigned business units. This position supports full-cycle recruitment activities while ensuring a positive candidate experience, adherence to compliance standards, and alignment with company-wide recruiting strategies. Operating within a decentralized HR structure, the Recruiter partners closely with local HR teams, hiring managers, and the enterprise Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure effective, efficient, and consistent recruitment practices that support business growth and workforce planning.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with recruiting partners and hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring needs, and desired candidate profiles.
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines of qualified candidates across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, and professional networks
  • Post, and manage job advertisements in accordance with internal processes and compliance guidelines.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and support interview scheduling and logistics across teams.
  • Support hiring managers with facilitate timely feedback loops.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal hiring laws and internal recruitment policies and practices.
  • Support the implementation of enterprise-wide recruiting tools, processes, and employer branding efforts as rolled out by the TA CoE.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a recruiting, staffing, or HR support role; corporate or agency experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Basic understanding of employment law and recruiting compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in candidate and stakeholder interactions.
  • Bilingual language skills preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for recruitment events
Travel Requirements
  • This position requires occasional travel, up to 10%, primarily for hiring/networking events, training sessions, or company events to support hiring objectives and candidate engagements. Travel, when necessary, will be communicated in advance and aligned with business needs. Travel may be on short notice, depending on branch hiring needs. Destinations typically include local regional branches, colleges, trade schools, and hiring events. Events may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • The position involved sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Work is conducted using a computer, phone, and virtual collaboration tools, with regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Employees are expected to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting that may involve virtual meetings, deadlines, and independent work.
  • The role involves regular communication with team members, candidates, and hiring managers, both in person and through virtual platforms.
  • The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
