Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Design Engineer I in Cranberry Township, PA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or recognized equivalent.
• 0+ years of engineering experience
• Apply fundamental engineering principles
• Computer simulation, programming skills and Linux experience
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification complete or in process

Responsibilities

• Perform standard Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Design analysis work for US and international customers, following approved methodologies and processes to support safe plant operation.
• Develop skills to assume more independent assignments and verify standard evaluations and analyses.
• Support emergent issues and interface with customers and teams to support safe plant operation.
• Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within schedule and budget while maintaining quality.
• Participate on project teams and communicate status to project managers and technical leads.
• Identify and recommend process and tool improvements and support implementation.
