Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic Design - Principal Engineer to address heat removal from reactor fuel and coolant flow. Hybrid role with relocation within the US, reporting to Manager - FR and THD.

Key responsibilities include leading analyses for safety/regulatory criteria, guiding complex projects, and providing technical leadership across teams and panels. PE certification desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical or related discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Reactor core Thermal Hydraulic experience with familiarity in subchannel codes.
• Experience working with customers and regulatory personnel.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Reactor Core Thermal Hydraulic analyses for US and international customers.
• Lead complex, emergent issues and coordinate with teams and customers.
• Drive special projects including new fuel products and designs.
• Provide expertise to technical panels and regulators on reactor topics.
• Oversee development and analysis of complex technical products and processes.
• Lead engineering design and analyses and propose solutions to undefined problems.
• Coordinate complex projects, manage budget/schedule, assess risks.
