MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to work with children with autism and developmental disabilities in Houston, TX. You will provide one-on-one and group-based therapeutic support under supervision, collecting data and documenting progress to help build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Must complete a 40-hour training course to obtain certification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Professional, reliable, and punctual.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients in one-on-one and group settings.
• Follow behavior reduction plans and protocols.
• Collect behavior and skill data using company tablets and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
