Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children and in group settings. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under supervision, with strong support for your growth in the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of experience/exposure with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• Ability to complete a 40-hour training course to obtain certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients one-on-one and in group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents; participate in staff meetings and trainings.
