Job summary

Plexus Corp in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure quality levels throughout production. You will visually inspect sub-assemblies and high-level assemblies, use magnifiers and inspection tools, and document results in our systems.

The role requires a middle school certificate, PCBA knowledge, and 6 months of related manufacturing experience with preference for 1+ year. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Middle school certificate required.
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend).
• Six months of related manufacturing experience required; 1+ year preferred.
• Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection procedures to ensure quality at various production stages.
• Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using magnifier or inspection tools.
• Enter standardized information into systems (GSF).
• Supervise work area following 5S standards.
• Escalate issues when needed.
