Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform routine inspections of sub-assemblies and HLA level products. You will visually inspect using magnifiers and tools, and follow sample methods or 100% inspection to ensure quality across production stages.

We value accurate data entry, adherence to standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Training for QA certification is provided within six months.

Qualifications

• A minimum of middle school certificate is required.
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend).
• Six Months of related experience in manufacturing process is required; One (1) or more years of related experience in the position is preferred.
• Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
• Visually inspect Sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and using lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.
• Kee ps supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.
