DH Pace Company is seeking an entry-level Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator in Springfield, MO. You will purchase materials per job specifications, verify pricing and discounts, and coordinate with vendors and project managers to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), strong MS Office skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities. Prior purchasing in related industries is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong background in Microsoft Office Suites.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.
• Technical purchasing in doors, hardware, or security helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials per job specifications and consolidate requests where possible.
• Check pricing and discounts with vendors and place accurate orders promptly.
• Maintain communication with vendors and project managers to expedite shipping.
• Process order acknowledgements for product correctness and pricing.
• Communicate daily with project management regarding issues affecting customer satisfaction.
