DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator for our National Accounts Construction group in Springfield, MO. This role focuses on purchasing materials per job specs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate order processing to support project timelines.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and solid communication. A degree is preferred but not required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

• Purchase materials per job specifications; consolidate requests when possible, check pricing and discounts with vendors and place accurate orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain communication with vendors and project managers to expedite shipping and meet shipping receiving expectations.
• Process order acknowledgements for product correctness, quantity accuracy, pricing verification, and invoice compliance.
• Communicate daily with project management regarding issues affecting customer satisfaction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking an Entry-Level Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator for our National Accounts Construction group in Springfield, MO! Job Responsibilities:

• You will be purchasing materials per job specifications; Consolidate requests when possible, check pricing and discounts available with vendors and place accurate orders in a timely matter. Ensure inquiries associated with orders are immediately addressed including shipment date, type of freight, and material handling.
• Maintain constant communication with vendors and project managers to expedite shipping of materials and maintain shipping receiving expectations
• Process order acknowledgements for product correctness, quantity accuracy, pricing verification, and invoice compliance
• Communicate daily with project management group relative to any issues that might negatively impact customers’ satisfaction
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Computer proficiency required, including strong background in Microsoft Office Suites
• Possess good organizational skills, problem solving abilities, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, have an aptitude for math, strong communication, and a high sense of urgency
• Technical purchasing in the door, hardware, or security industry or procurement background is helpful, but not required
