Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in the United States is hiring a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism and related developmental differences. You will work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, implementing treatment plans under the guidance of BCBAs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a related role (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, etc.) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.

Education

You'll work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings while receiving support and guidance from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old

  • Behavioral Interventionist

  • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
