Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings.

You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to build communication, social, and daily living skills. Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field suggested.
• Or at least one year of relevant experience (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Plus one of the following:
  • College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field
• OR
  • At least one year of experience as a:
    • Behavior Technician
    • ABA Therapist
    • Behavioral Interventionist
    • Paraprofessional
    • Child Development Professional
    • Camp Counselor
    • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
