Qualifications

• Associate degree in Property Appraisal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine property appraisals and basic level appraisals of real, personal, commercial, and exempt property.
• Collects property data, measures, photographs properties, and compiles sales information for valuation.
• Performs field inspections and verifies data against actual properties and new construction.
• Prepares appeal data and supports appeal hearings with documentation and research.
• Assists property owners and the public with tax-related matters and explains appraisal methods and processes.
• Maintains records and processes documents per procedures, and inputs data into computer systems.
