Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in Edison, NJ is seeking an entry-level Project Manager I to coordinate client projects through all lab phases, including set-up, sample receipt, invoicing, and account maintenance. The role emphasizes building client relationships, ensuring on-time delivery, and collaborating across Operations and QA.

Educational background is a BS/BA in Chemistry or related field with at least 6 months of client-service experience; bench chemist exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences or related field required.
• 6 months of client-relationship/customer service experience.
• Prefer some bench chemist or field experience.
• Requires additional lab training in methods and QA across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Project Set-up: Review and set up project in LIMS; add notes, review docs; initiate kickoff with client.
• Sample Receipt: Manage incoming work; review log-in issues; inform client of discrepancies; issue confirmations.
• Invoicing: Set up delivery route; review invoices; generate memos; follow up on invoicing with clients and collections.
• Client Set-up: Take new quotes; review contract requirements; review purchase orders; submit PO for approval.
• Account Maintenance: Follow up with clients; provide technical support; forward leads to sales; handle client complaints and corrective actions.
