Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) in Scottsdale seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.

You will coordinate multiple projects, help develop schedules, participate in value engineering, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Accredited apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation/solving skills.
• Understanding of the project design process for projects.
• Understanding of integrated EPC process and construction means/methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with cross-functional teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits for review.
• Supports safety planning and incident reporting in collaboration with Safety personnel.
• Helps prepare monthly project review reports for PM and Senior Management.
• Performs financial reviews and project closeouts on a monthly basis.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG document management system.
