Job summary

Quanta-Services’ QISG unit seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on engineering, estimating, project controls, client presentations, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases. You may work on multiple projects concurrently and rotate with support groups as needed.

You will coordinate schedules, assist with monthly reviews, financials, RFIs, and quality feedback while adhering to safety and project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem solving, communication and scheduling skills.
• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction tasks.
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with stakeholders.
• Support safety plans, monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Prepare RFIs and feedback to improve quality of deliverables.
• Monitor progress and assist with project close-out and warranty administration.
