Job summary

Beacon EmbeddedWorks in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking an entry-level Project Manager I to coordinate internal projects across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. The role emphasizes organized planning, progress tracking, and cross-functional communication.

You will report to the VP of Operations and help maintain schedules, risk flags, and project documentation while growing into larger program management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; up to two years of project coordination/management ideal, preferably in manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting status updates to cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet or similar).
• Ability to work collaboratively across Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal Beacon execution projects between Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Track tasks, deliverables, and deadlines; flag risks and delays to stakeholders.
• Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings; prepare agendas and notes.
• Monitor task completion; maintain project documentation per requirements.
• Prepare regular status updates highlighting progress, risks and actions.
• Identify resource needs and constraints across functions.
