Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking an Associate Project Manager to build a pipeline of future Project Managers for complex material handling automation projects. Under guidance, you will learn planning, execution, commissioning, and financial delivery across conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, and software integrations.

Travel-intensive field assignments across customer sites are required; rotations aim to develop readiness to independently manage projects within 12–24 months, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 0-3 years experience in project coordination, engineering or industrial automation environments.
• CAPM or PMP certification or interest in pursuing certification is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, commissioning and closeout of automation projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budget tracking, cost control, forecasting and risk management.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, software, operations, procurement, installation teams and customers.
• Track milestones, action items, risks, issues and change requests; support reporting and governance.
• Promote safety compliance during all project activities.
• Communicate project status clearly to customers, vendors, and leadership.
