DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring for an Entry-level Project Manager in our National Accounts Facilities department. This role is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS.

Successful Project Managers ensure construction project objectives are met by specified dates and within budget by partnering with general contractors and managing submittals, plans, and specifications. Job Responsibilities include reviewing plans, coordinating schedules with vendors, and maintaining budgets.

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree or two years of work experience as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer in construction/service environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Mechanically minded with good mathematical aptitude and bid verification skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook; clear communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, ordering, and coordinating with vendors within budget.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Present information and findings to managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate problem solving and forecasting to support project execution.
• Follow procedures for on-time and within-budget project management.
• Maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction across projects.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to meet SLAs.

DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring for an Entry-level Project Manager in our National Accounts Facilities department! This role is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS! Successful Project Managers ensure construction project objectives are met by specified dates and within budget by partnering with general contractors and managing submittals, plans, and specifications. We are seeking candidates who have a Construction Management degree or two-years of work experience as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer at a construction/service company, sub-contractor, property management firm, or similar work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review construction project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, operate within customer specified budget parameters, and working with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and clients and providing updates as needed
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and effectively communicate the technical findings of technicians to our clients and customers
• Must be able to master project coordinating and problem solving by using good judgment and forecasting
• Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget
• Monitors and reviews all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
• Determine innovative solutions to any/all problems concerning execution of jobs
• Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately
• Work with our strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements
• Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Construction Management Degreeor Two (2) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred
• Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
• Mechanically minded or inclined
• Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, customer relations, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
