Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support project accounting and finance functions across multiple sites. The role emphasizes cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and human capital management, contributing to the month-end close and financial reporting for project management.

Applicants should have 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience and a bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of financial/data analysis experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree
• Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company
• Ability to travel and/or relocate as required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience working with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key excel functions is preferred
• Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passionate for continuous improvement
• Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Previous internship experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance
• Assists with month end close out and prepares a financial reporting package for project management
• Works within a large, distributed organization to support project accounting and finance functions
• Interacts with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data and reporting
• Maintains accuracy of cost and revenue tracking across multiple components
