Job summary

Kiewit Power Market is seeking an entry-level financial professional to support project controls, forecasting, and accounting across a broad portfolio of power projects. You will gain exposure to payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, and billing workflows while collaborating with a growing team.

Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong Excel skills. Willingness to travel/relocate is required as projects span across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
• 0 - 2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups and other key Excel functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs and helping in other areas as needed
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and shows a willingness to learn about the work
• Understands the payroll and HR process workflow, and masters the systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay all employees
• Maintains purchasing workflow internal controls and understands accounts payable process workflow
• Demonstrates understanding of intercompany and client billing, ensuring timely and accurate billing documentation
• Reviews costs, budget structure and reports to ensure accurate management reporting
• Identifies and reviews forecast and budget issues with cost reports to ensure proper recognition of cost and revenue
