Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. You will support budgeting, scheduling, forecasting and reporting to help projects stay on track and on budget.

Success involves collaborating with project managers and teams, applying basic project controls methodologies, and developing cost and resource forecasts with supervisor guidance. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• 0 years of experience required in some cases; entry level acceptable.
• Gathers project progress info to update and monitor projects of basic complexity.

Responsibilities

• Gathers project progress information from project manager and team to update basic complexity projects.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs and updates requirements.
• Generates earned value reports and drafts status reports for cost and schedule communications.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documentation.
• Performs other duties as required.
