Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team in a hybrid role. You will help manage schedules, costs and performance data for projects, coordinating with project managers and teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has an understanding of project management methodologies, earned value, and financial reporting, with familiarity in Primavera P6 and EcoSys. Travel may be required, and the role emphasizes teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with project controls, scheduling and cost reporting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management and financial analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with internal procedures and collect progress data to monitor project performance.
• Develop and analyze time-phased schedules and forecasts for basic to moderate complexity projects.
• Generate earned value and cost reports and discuss observations with supervisor.
• Assist in document management and communication with project teams and clients.
• Perform routine analyses and support risk and change management activities.
