Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team in the United States. You will support planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project performance to help projects stay on track and on budget.

The role involves earned value management, data analysis, and collaboration with project managers to monitor schedule and cost performance. Domestic and international travel may be required, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level knowledge of project management methodologies and finance concepts.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools and project performance software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with internal procedures and gather progress data.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for basic projects.
• Prepare routine cost and schedule forecasts and performance reports.
• Assist in documenting changes and their impact on baselines.
