CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance across projects of basic complexity.

You will work with project managers to ensure on-time delivery and cost control. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and foundational knowledge of project controls, with familiarity in Primavera and EcoSys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 0 years of experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with project controls concepts, budgeting and scheduling.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with internal procedures and gather progress data.
• Develop time-phased cost and resource forecasts; monitor variances.
• Prepare routine financial and status reports for projects.
• Assist in earned value management and schedule performance analysis.
• Maintain document management and project records.
