Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project performance for projects of basic complexity.

You will gather progress data, update schedules, and contribute to Earned Value Management analyses under supervision. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with exposure to Primavera and EcoSys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.

• Travel up to 10% may be required; domestic and/or international travel.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance.
• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs.
• Monitor progress of project deliverables and prepare status reports.
• Perform routine financial analyses and earned value management.
• Maintain document management protocols for project docs.
