Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance, working closely with project managers and teams to provide insights for informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has an entry level knowledge of project management methodologies and basic Primavera/EcoSys skills, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 0 years experience;equivalent directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and gathers project progress information to update and monitor project cost/schedule baselines.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports for basic projects and discusses observations with supervisor and project manager.
• Performs other duties as required.
