Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance alongside project managers and teams.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of project management methodologies, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Primavera or EcoSys. This position is hybrid with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and gathers project progress information.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and prepares status reports.
• Performs routine analyses and may prepare routine financial reports.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documentation.
