Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineers is seeking an Engineering Controls Analyst in Lenexa, KS. This entry-level position focuses on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance within project accounting.

You will contribute to month-end close and prepare financial reports for project managers. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and HR processes.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting for project management.
• Understand purchasing, invoicing, and internal controls to ensure accurate reporting.
• Help review forecast, budget, and cost/revenue recognition.
