Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking an entry-level Engineering Controls Analyst to support a Design Engineering project team with accounting, scheduling, earned-value management, and finance tasks. The role involves month-end close activities and preparing monthly financial reports for project management.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in math, business, accounting, or finance and strong Excel skills, with internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business administration, accounting, finance or similar field.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Review spent hours, incurred expense costs, quantity claiming, budget structure, exception reports, and schedule progression curves, ensuring accurate reporting for management.
• Identify, adjust, and review financial forecast and budget issues within standard financial summary reports.
• Support project controls tasks including forecasting, scheduling and month-end close activities.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting packages for project management.
