Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus is seeking an entry-level program management staff member to support assigned projects with guidance and detailed instructions. You will assist in routine program tasks across weapon, product, or reimbursable programs and contribute to various admin and coordination activities.

You will help develop cost and schedule frameworks, participate in defining production elements, and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must graduate from an accredited college or university by May 2027.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain, if required, a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assists in program management activities for one or more program elements of moderate to significant complexity.
• Provides input into reviews and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
• Contributes to the development of cost and schedule frameworks for projects.
• Supports establishment of production/project definitions and maintenance of schedules.
• Acts as liaison with internal and external entities (DOE, design agencies, laboratories, contractors) as needed for program elements.
• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units.
