Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer I to perform routine engineering tasks on assigned projects under the guidance of senior engineers. The role focuses on design support, drawings, specifications, and test equipment development. You must have a BS in Engineering or Physics from an ABET-accredited program, U.S.

citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 15%. Work arrangement may be remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with mathematical computations and computer software applications.
• Demonstrated established technical methodologies to routine engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and project management of new and current projects under guidance.
• Prepare product definitions, drawings, specifications, operating procedures, and test equipment designs.
• Develop electrical/environmental test procedures and perform routine to moderately complex tests.
• Define and acquire tooling, cables, and other equipment to assure product quality.
• Interact with design agencies, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Evaluate technological advances to improve productivity and quality.
