Eastern Research Group (ERG) seeks entry-level engineers to join our team at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD. You will perform engineering duties in support of production, help document SOPs and P&IDs, and assist in process development while learning from experienced professionals.

Ideal candidates have a 3.0+ GPA, are U.S. citizens, and can obtain a DoD Secret clearance. This role offers hands-on growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the engineering field (aerospace, chemical, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical).
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of engineering duties in support of material and end-item production.
• Identify and resolve production delays related to procurement, material quality, and equipment breakdowns.
• Prepare and edit SOPs, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Perform calculations supporting process design and equipment sizing.
• Assist with developing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Use data analysis to improve process efficiency and reliability.
• Support process development, testing, validation, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
