Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Production Planner/Master Scheduler to coordinate material flow across production stages and align schedules with demand and capacity.

The role requires 3–5+ years in production planning or scheduling, an AA degree or equivalent, and advanced experience with MRP, Oracle and Agile. CPIM/APICS certification is a plus. This on-site position includes competitive benefits and opportunity for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience.
• A.A. Degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience.
• Advanced experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems.
• CPIM or APICS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate the flow of materials between production stages.
• Review production schedules to anticipate required materials, equipment and supplies.
• Provide input to management to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions
• Manage WIP variances at the work order level and collaborate with manufacturing production and stores to ensure timely material management
• Manage change activity to WIP jobs at the work order level.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
