Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking an entry-level Production Associate in our manufacturing facilities. You will perform weigh-up or packaging duties, ensure the highest quality product at the lowest cost, and meet customer specifications under Avient policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, or procedure manuals.
• Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide; work with different units (weight, volume, density, distance).
• Prior work in an industrial operations environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct batch documentation and deliver ingredients to the work area per recipe specifications.
• Set up and start weigh-up or packaging machinery; verify controls per procedures.
• Notify relevant personnel of issues in a timely manner to ensure safety and quality.
• Safely process, batch, and package material to meet customer specifications.
• Provide materials and support to Production Operators to maintain equipment operation.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records per procedures.
