Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift in a safe manner and maintain forklift certifications.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work overtime to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders and perform cylinder maintenance using blasting, painting and valves.
• Perform quality control and safety inspection of cylinders for compliance.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Coordinate paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards.
• Label cylinders correctly and maintain safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly plant area and support production schedules.
