Job summary

Avantor in Sparks, Nevada is looking for Production Operators to monitor the production process, perform container preparation, filling, shipping and receiving, and assist with inventory and site maintenance. No experience is required as training is provided, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Basic English and quick instruction-following are valued. Ideal candidates are active, hands-on, and reliable, with a high school diploma or GED considered a bonus and forklift/HAZMAT certificates as

Qualifications

• No experience necessary – we’ll train you!
• Basic English skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to follow instructions and shift priorities quickly.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
• High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• OSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plus.
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks and simple math.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean production equipment
• Inspect products and monitor machines during production
• Package finished goods and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organized
• Report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Meet production goals for quality and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts and general site maintenance
• Support other tasks as needed
