Job summary

Mondi Group is seeking a production helper to support our packaging and paper operations in Utah. You will wear PPE, work in a fast-paced environment, and help with machine setup, inspection, and housekeeping.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, weekend work, and the ability to perform essential functions with a strong focus on safety. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required or preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and supervisor.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wear all PPE and work safely; follow SOPs to ensure quality and proper waste tickets.
• Perform essential production duties and assist operators as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle materials safely.
• Keep machine center and work area clean; follow housekeeping routines.
• Check orders for accuracy and assist with routine paper checks.

Your Mission

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Wear all Personal Protective Equipment as directed and Work Safely
• Lifting requirement: must be able to install and remove roll shafts (up to 50lbs or more)
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure that order has been checked off before running, quality is maintained, waste tickets and computer entries are completed accurately
• Follow housekeeping checklists to keep the machine and machine center cleaned to the proper standards
• Responsible for having all previously run equipment and parts cleaned and returned to its proper location
• Responsible for checking a bag to ensure customer specifications
• Learn duties and responsibilities of Helper position
• Check order for correct paper
• Fill out cleaning checklist on weekly clean up
• Keep machine and work area clean at all times

Your Profile

• Willing to work 8 and 12 hour shifts Monday – Friday
• Rotating Shift Schedule
• Weekends are required
• Manufacturing experience
• Self-motivation is vital for this position
• Strong communication skills are required for this position
• Lifting requirement: 50 pounds or more
• Access to reliable transportation
• Have a great attitude

• Must be 18 Years or older
