Job summary

Mondi Group is hiring for a role in its packaging & paper division. You will inspect bags to ensure correct glue, print accuracy, and material usage per specifications, halting production when defects are found.

Responsibilities include verifying compliance with orders and quality standards, coordinating with leaders for approvals, and supporting cross-functional teams as needed in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Work schedules are normally 8 or 12 hours.
• May be scheduled for rotating days off.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

• Places products on hold if defects are found.
• Communicates with Operators to stop production of defective bags immediately.
• Inspects product for compliance with order specs and company quality control system and packing standards.
• Seeks approval from Quality Manager/Supervisor/Leads when questions arise.
• Cooperates with team members and supports other departments as needed.

Job description

Your Mission

• Checks orders to make sure proper glue application throughout the bag, verifies print is accurate to customer specification sheet, identifies proper materials are used in the construction of the product.


• Places products on hold if found with defects.


• Speaks openly with Operators to stop production of defective bags immediately.


• Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.


• Receives approval from Quality Manager/Quality Supervisor/Shift Leaders/Production Manager if questions arise.


• Cooperates with team members.


• Perform other duties as assigned (i.e. trains new hires when asked, assists in other departments when deemed necessary by management and any other task or assignment within the scope of the business).
