Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking an engineer to provide routine support and troubleshooting for the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on improving system and equipment reliability to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in validation activities, and help drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field with minimum 1 year of engineering/technical experience (GMP preferred).
• Associate's degree with minimum 3 years of engineering/technical experience (GMP preferred).
• High school diploma with minimum 5 years of engineering/technical experience (GMP preferred).
• Experience with design of requirements documents a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory expectations (FDA) is a plus.
• Experience with Process Control Systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and cross-functional environment.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operations business.

Responsibilities

• Support validation & verification within area.
• Ensure quality of equipment and processes.
• Support process improvement projects for assigned area.
• Support manufacturing operations and provide technical support to operating facilities to meet business goals.
• Generate ideas and support implementation for improvement within area.
• Own self development and partner with manager for development needs and career path.
• Follow safety & environmental requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
