Job summary

Gravity Haus is seeking an entry-level Prep Cook to support the culinary team in preparing ingredients and maintaining kitchen readiness for service. This role provides hands-on exposure to a professional kitchen environment and room to grow.

Responsibilities include washing and prepping ingredients, maintaining clean prep stations, labeling and storing items, and assisting during service while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year previous kitchen experience is preferred.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of food handling.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, coolers, and storage areas.
• Label, date, and properly store food items to maintain freshness and safety.
• Assist cooks and chefs during service by providing prepped ingredients and basic tasks.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
