Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Production Assembler 1 to perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts under defined instructions and in accordance with safety procedures.

You will review route cards and schematics, handle very small parts under a binocular microscope, bond or seal parts with epoxy, test assemblies, and maintain punctual attendance, with possible night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical skills and the ability to follow defined procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manufacturing instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity to work with small parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical/electromechanical components per instructions.
• Review route cards or schematics to confirm operation sequence.
• Handle very small parts under a binocular microscope.
• Adjust, bend, align and solder fine wires to components.
• Bond or seal parts with epoxies and perform in-process testing.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and shift flexibility.
