Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking an entry-level assembler to accurately assemble and test components, supporting on-time delivery and quality. The role involves using mechanical and electronic tools, following blueprints and test specs, and contributing to lean initiatives.

You will work under direct supervision, perform basic painting and detailing, and help maintain a safe, FOD-free workspace.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year general mechanical work experience.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
• Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
• Possess strong mechanical reasoning and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills and tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
• Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
• Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications and standards.
• Performs touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials and cleans parts.
• Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities.
• Maintains a safe, FOD-free work area and ensures equipment calibration.
