Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Assembler Tester to accurately assemble and test moderately complex products, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. The role may involve lockwiring, subassembly, and final detailing, with work on mechanical components and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two or more years related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment or mechanical experience. Aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and tests a variety of moderately complex products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery schedules.
• Performs lockwiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing functions as needed.
• Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
• Records test results using data forms and test equipment; identifies malfunctions and reworks as instructed.
• Performs touch-up or full surface painting of parts and uses finishing materials.
• Contributes to lean initiatives by identifying areas for improvement.
