Job summary

Parker Aerospace’s Defense Systems Division in Irvine, California, seeks an Electronics Assembler (Production Assembler 2) to perform electronic and electromechanical assembly tasks on a production basis. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma/GED and 3+ years electronics assembly experience, with J-STD-001 certification preferred and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of related electronics assembly experience; J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Work under microscope for long periods of time.
• Handle small parts and piezoelectric crystals.
• Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques.
• Intermediate mechanical assembly of small parts and understanding torque requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, job travelers and work instructions.
• Calibrate equipment and ensure compliance with calibration schedule.
• Maintain safety and organized workstations.
