Job summary

Parker is seeking a Production Assembler 2 to join the Irvine, CA team. Under general supervision you will perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work on a production basis.

The role involves semi-repetitive tasks, reading blueprints, and adhering to established work instructions, with emphasis on safety and quality controls. The position requires strong skills in ESD control, soldering, high voltage testing, and precision assembly using micrometers and microscopes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Work under the microscope for long periods.
• Handle small parts and piezoelectric crystals.
• Perform intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly.
• Assemble small parts mechanically with proper torque.
• Interpret blueprints and job travelers; follow work instructions.
• Maintain safety and cleaning; calibrate equipment as scheduled.
