Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Residency within 15 miles of Hopedale within 1 year of appointment.
• Must be a non-smoker per MA law.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain MA License to Carry Firearms Permit.
• Must pass a complete fitness test.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Must complete the full-time MPTC Police Academy.
• Must pass the GetBadged entry exam with 70% or above.
