Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Plasma Donor Screener in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of donors while performing vital sign checks and phlebotomy. You will support operational opportunities for continuous improvement within the plasma center.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs.
• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on their safety.
• Maintain accurate donor records and coordinate compensation.
