Blink Health is seeking an entry-level Pharmacist for an onsite role in Boise, ID. The Pharmacist will supervise technicians, ensure accurate prescription processing, and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; mail order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment experience preferred.
• Active pharmacy license in additional states preferred.
• Strong command of the English language and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager and workflow.
• Oversee data entry by staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and ensure quality of work.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and proper destruction of sensitive records.
• Assist the pharmacy manager with staff communications with major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies nationwide.
• Oversee end-to-end transfer and processing of patients’ prescriptions and verify accuracy prior to dispensing.
• Verify prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and medication education by phone for new prescriptions and refills.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and address clinical issues delaying dispensing.
• Perform duties in a safe, compliant manner per corporate policies and laws.
• Coordinate with St Louis Pharmacy leadership and management teams.
